What designs are available?Mass production and Custom Cutters use the services of the many graphic artists. That's why you can find the same, or similar products in many of the retail outlets. The Custom Cutters provide the opportunity to alter and personalize the 'standard' designs. If you want the deer replaced with a bear, that's what we do! We can also use a customer-supplied image/picture and convert it to a CNC format. Most of our 'stock designs' come from designers like; Cascade Metal Designs and SignTorch Follow the links and see what they have to offer. Pick a pattern and let us know what changes you'd like to have - like adding a 'Welcome to the (your name here)' - and we'll take it from there.
How do you cut the steel? We use 14 gauge cold-rolled steel from American or Canadian mills. The cutting is done with a Plasma Cutter on a computer driven CNC table. We use the philosophy that it's easier to criticize than create. When contacted by a customer, we do our best to understand the desired outcome. A preliminary design is created and sent via Email for correction. Sometimes this will take several iterations until we get everything the customer is looking for. Once we get approval, the material is cut, prepared for finishing and powder coated in the color chosen by the customer.
